Teenage Kicks...

Following a two month tour the Teenage Rampage Tour 2009 has announced the winning 5 acts to perform at the live Bristol finale on Saturday 19th September.
The young bands carefully selected from the packed regional gigs are The Naturals, all girl band The Orkid, Napoleon In Rags, all male 4 piece act Terrible Strangers and Oracy who describe their sound as ‘Indie-Rock blended with electronic glitchy’ beats and quirky synths’. The ages of the acts have ranged from 11 to 19 years old and playing on stage alongside this teen line-up will be a host of national headline bands including Johnny Foreigner, Blakfish, Tubelord, Turbowolf and Let’s Tea Party.
Speaking about their opportunity to play on stage at the Teenage Rampage Tour Finale, Abi Sinclair from The Orkid said 'We're incredibly excited to be playing in front of such a huge crowd - by far our biggest audience to date. The gigs have really made us think about our music and we are working hard to put on our best performance yet.' Abi added, 'The Teenage Rampage Tour is a unique opportunity - a chance for young bands like ours to gain experience, recognition and a wider audience.'
