Bali waves firing...

****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and glad to have you dropping in for a look at todays surfing and weather conditions here on your best bet for waves holiday destination of Bali. Another thanks to Hendra and his team for another round of photos from none other than Padang Padang yesterday.

This mornings 8.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was still showing some nice sized waves, ranging between head to double head high between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time the wind was coming lightly out of the WNW @ 2-4knot and on-shore. But within the hour by 9.00AM the Tradewind was starting to kick in with clean ESE off-shore wind between Kuta and Uluwatu. Kuta Reef had just the right amount of water from the early morning high tide and was delivering some solid tubes and long walls in the head to head high plus range. But no shortage of surfers with at least a crew of 30+ on it by 8.00AM. I also saw a couple of boards get snapped and a couple of reef tattoo’s given out. Middle Reef didn’t have any surfers on it at the time, but around midday as the tide bottoms out should be pretty good with wave height up to double head high. Airport Left wasn’t picking up as much swell as Kuta Reef but still the occassional over head set wave.
