Asian Wakepark Tour, Lago de Oro - Phiippines.

Super stoked to get first place in Open Wakeskate, making me the Asian Wakepark Champion of Asia for wakeskate 2010, keeping the crown from 2009.  For wakeboard I came 4th, with 3rd overall for the tour.

Freddie kept 2nd place in the comp and on the tour for skate.  Bomb won open wakeboard and came first overall on the tour.

Back to Bangkok today, after an awsome time in The Philippines and I will return for the worlds in the Middle of January.

Just arrived Manila after having a great time shredding at CWC. Now for the Asian Wakepark your, cannot wait. The standings are very tight this year, anything can happen! Watch this space.

After Reef Wakefest, I will be in MNL for the final stop of the Asian Wakepark tour. Never been to the cable, so will be a first. An exciting stop, as it is the 3rd and final stop of the Asian Wakepark tour, with me still have a chance for the tour in open wakeboard and open wakeskate. More news to follow.

Reef Wakefest, CWC Philippines.

20th November 2010 : - Got 1st in Open wakeskate and 2nd in Open Wakeboard, a great day for the Thai Team with Aye taking first place for Open Wakeboard and Freddie getting 3rd for Open Wakeskate. That means a podium position for all the Thai Riders.

I will stay a few days at CWC until flying to Manila on Wednesday for the final part of the Asian Wakepark tour. Hopefully some good shredding sessions at CWC from now until then :)

A big shout to Republic and CWC for supporting me, especially for the support directly from the Guv and Treena.

The One Wakeskate

The One wakesk8 has become the wakeskate competition of the year in Thailand. Last year was the first year and the first comp I had stepped into Open Men and won at that time (Jan 2009) as well as best trick:). This year was at TWP and with 60 riders in total, it did not fail to dissapoint. The level of wakeskate riding in Thailand has increased so much with Shuv on / Shuv off being something done in the novice category. For Open Men, we had qualfying and then for the last 4 a head to head, 10 minute Jam session.

The comp was close in the end, but was super stoked to get first place, and land my turtle flip, towards the end of the 10 minute jam session. Now that I have done this is a comp, I can offically name it :)

WWA Comp - Turkey

All year I wanted to see Hipnotics, the most known cable Pro-RIder Tatsanaye Aye is featured in Hipnose, so since then I heard so many good things about it. I travelled together with Aye and as I always do for WWA, represented by home riding country - Thailand.
The wake scene in Asia is growing so much and Thailand is leading this, I try where possible to promote Thai Wakepark and Thai Riders. I just love the Thai Style of riding and being 1/2 Thai, I always feel the need to push and promote their cable and the county as a leading wake nation.

I won Boys Division wakeboard, got 3rd in Open wakeskate (Andy and Jan Kissman getting 1st and 2nd) and had a great time in the Pro Men Obstacle Jam, getting knocked out by Keith Lidberg. It was a close comp and great fun.

X-Mini

I just wanted to give a big shout to X-Mini. They are a cool company based in Singapore, that make portable speakers, which are idea for ipad's, laptop's etc, certainly they were my best freind when I was 7 weeks in Europe :). As an ambassador for X-Mini, I have given away x-mini speakers to pro-riders. Steffen Vollert, Andy Kolb and Domnic Guhrs all loved the product which they saw first at my cable house at TWP. I gave to Shawn Watson one, after our head to head battle at Wake the Line, as well as other great riders such as Tom Fooshe and C.K Koester and my good mate Fredie Carter.

They are truly an awsome speaker and I suggest anyone who want's a portable sound, buy them.

Holland

I spent one week riding in Holland and had a great time with big Daan. Holland was such an awesome place, even though probably ate more cheeze than I have ate in my entire life. The Protest Cable call was a great comp, although on the day of the finals the wind was super strong, and I ended up (like almost everyone) falling on my run. Was still stoked to get on the Podium (3rd place). Wished there was a wakeskate comp also especially being part of the WWA 5 stop tour. Anyway I am already confirfmed for Turkey, so looking forward to that, and for sure will be up against some great riders.

In the U.K

Spent around 10 days in London, had a great time visiting all the difference cables such as Thorpe, Liquid Leasure, WM ski and Box End Park. Huge thank you to all the riders down there, especially Freddie and his Dad for looking after me. Maybe this will now be my longest time ever without riding (7 days :( ), will be chilling at Newcastle spending time with my Grandparents before flying off to Holland next Saturday, to ride at Wet and Wild with Daan Rigter and then the following weekend for the WWA Worlds :). Cannot wait.

Wake the Line

Find some photo's of Wake the Line. The event was sick and totally ninja!, we had little time to practice but the set up was mind blowing. Shawn Watson knocked me out of the first group, but anyway a amazing event. Thanks to all who organized it, the event was Sick!
