Moroccan Style on Dian Pelangi's Wedding

Style inspiration to attend your friend's wedding. Yaa, it's time for KAFTAN. Complying Dian Pelangi's wedding theme : Moroccan, we decided to wear kaftan. Kaftan is a long flowing garment that has long sleeves and has ankle length, Kaftan is the original Moroccan dress. It looks elegant and modest at the same time. My suggestion for selecting best fitted kaftan : choose Kaftan that has tie along your waist, so it can shape your body, and It won't make you look in bigger, CMIIW :D

Even Oishi, Jehan's daughter, wore Kaftan! Lovely Oishi, muaaah :*

DnF Wedding

Assalamu'alaikum dear friend ^^

Last saturday, one of my best friend, Nalia Rifika, hold a wedding reception. After 8 years relationship (subhanallah), Fika & Delon decided to get married on December 11th 2010. The reception was hold twice, with Aceh tradition on December 11th 2010 then Padang tradition in the next day. Fika.. you are strong woman (literally), you wore suntiang twice, salute :)

You looks so gorgeous,Fika!!

She shared her story about wedding preparation in a blog, The Journey of DnF Wedding. If you read all of her posts, you'll feel that the one whose getting married is you, hehehe. She explained the wedding preparation comprehensively. I think her blog should be an insprirational source for muslimah wedding.

Since Fika's favorite color is purple (same with me, toss fik!), so almost of us wore purple outfit intentionally. Oh ya, I want to share you about Hijab Outfit for Wedding in the next post, insya allah.

And the last, best wishes for a lovely couple, happy wedding!

The Wedding

Dear all my beloved friends,
I just wanted to thank you again for your incredible kindness on my previous post. I just wanted to let you know again how much I appreciate your support while I was feeling sad. Your kind and motivated word really made a difference for my self, I feel happier than before. Thank you bloggers :)

I'm back from my gloomy phase, hehehe.
Last Sunday, my junior high school mate married. Her wedding was an Islamic way which is there was a separation (hijab) between the bride and bridegroom. I didn't take many pictures of me since I felt ugly and fat :D So, enjoy my best friends pictures ^^

After wedding, we went to Mal Kelapa Gading to watch movie, but it was totally crowded and there were long queued at ticket box so we decided to eat some pasta & waffle at Pancious. Oh yaa, Thank you Puput Utami, that recently noticed as my junior at high school, for giving me this cute award, thank you baby :)

I wonder we can do some meet up sometime, is it a great idea? :))
