This year Rusty will continue its commitment to junior surfing in Indonesia by presenting a three-part contest series in conjunction with the Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship (ISC).
The Rusty Gromfest Series will provide an opportunity for young surfers to develop their competitive skills in Bali's most coveted waves.
The event dates are as follows:
February 28th - Rusty Gromfest Keramas
March 28th - Rusty Gromfest Pererenan
April 25th - Rusty Gromfest 'Halfway' Kuta
Under 16 division competitors will battle it out to claim the overall U/16 Gromfest Champion prize of a free, expenses paid trip to Australia to compete in the Rusty Gromfest at Lennox Head in July 2010.
As with previous years, finalists from each event will score awesome prizes in the form of Rusty clothing packs, Sony Ericsson handphones, Creatures grips and leashes, free surfboard art and repairs from Freedom surfshop, and other products from event sponsors Sabre, Macbeth, Stomp, Zinka, and Walls. The overall under 14 division winner will receive a tricked out Sony PSP.
Entry is FREE but slots are limited so priority will be given to local surfers from each respective break.
