Satusuku Cherating Surf School & Surf Shop

Satusuku Surf is the only surf school in Malaysia, and is at the heart of Cherating surfing life. Located on the main road of Cherating Lama in the centre of town just a few metres from the beach, it's the first stop for anyone surfing in Cherating. Recently refurbished, Satusuku Surf is returning for the 2009 season bigger and better than ever, with a brand new shop stocking the new Satusuku clothing range, as well as Billabong, Culture House, and a load of other cool stuff. With a new and refurbished patio, Satusuku Surf is a great place to hang out as well, with a weekly barbecue as well as parties all through monsoon season.

Satusuku Surf offers board rental, surf tours, and surf lessons. Board rental starts at RM40 for a half-day and RM70 for a full day, with discounts availabe for extended hire periods. Lessons begin at RM120 for a private lesson and RM100 per person for group lessons. Lesson packages and Learn-to-Surf packages are also available, inclusive of accommodation, surf lessons, equipment hire, barbecue/party and more. Prices start from RM400 for a weekend package. The school is now open for bookings - call +60143232952 or email satusuku@gmail.com for more details or to make a reservation.

The shop also stocks a wide range of new and second-hand boards for sale, all at reasonable prices for every standard of surfer. From now until September, Satusuku is also taking orders for custom boards for the new season - email satusuku@gmail.com for details or to place an order.
Satusuku Surf also organises surf tours throughout Indonesia and the SE Asia region. Currently taking bookings for the next epic Mentawais adventure in September (see pic) - call or email to book your spot!
