Our Congratulations to BLUE® ambassador and sailor Sam Davies Sam Davies who onboard Roxy has completed her first solo, non-stop round the world Vendée Globe race in an incredible time of just over 95 days.Sam traveled 27,479 miles through some of the most dangerous waters in the world and Roxy was one of just 11 boats from an original fleet of 30 to finish the race. Sam not only finished third on the water but was the first Briton and first female competitor home and also posted the second fastest time ever for a female Vendée Globe skipper, narrowly missing out on Ellen MacArthur's record of 94 days and 4 hours, stating "I am absolutely ecstatic to have finished the toughest adventure of my life".
