Recollect My Dream

After I had watched Sang Pemimpi and read Perahu Kertas, I recollected my dream.

What should I reach in my future?
Should I face the reality that I have a job for an existency or still persist on my idealism?
Huh..reality bites come to me.

Wetsuit - Moderate Quiksilver Clothing

Quicksilver clothing are the torch bearers in the field of fashion and style. Easy to wear and easy to take off. However it looks like your second skin the moment you open the zip. It is off!So you can wear and take off without any hassle. The fabric is extremely gentle on the skin. Everyone loves to use the wetsuits of this brand. It means you are free from all those loads of sun block. You will not have rashes because the suit fits perfectly and does not rub on the skin like other wetsuits, causing less irritation and dark spots.

The stitching of this brand is undeniably good and sturdy, hence it is enjoying the excellent reputation in the market. The 3/2mm thickness of most of the brand’s full wetsuits is thick enough to withstand waters that are 50 to 55 degrees cold. The wrist and the neck area are all cuffed and taped to perfection, so that water will not surge into the skin causing cold.

High flexibility and the light weight are the main features of this brand. As there are no seams , no chance for irritation. The fabric also has hypoallergenic which is user friendly. What is also very special about the suits from this brand is that the fabric can stretch four ways, if you are in between sizes, you can still find the right one for you. The Quiksilver offers a shipping discount for customers.

Wetsuit- Economical Billabong clothing

Billabong Clothing is a blend of usability, style, comfort and fashion. Billabong is ruling the roof of fashion world. It has been a very user friendly wetsuit designed for free movements of the body. The Epic which was released in 2008 has been reinvented in to a cheaper version. But it is giving tough to the most expensive ones! The new Epic has the LSD design standing for Lumbar Seamless Design, that gives support to the lumbar regions of the body. There is surely nothing plastic-like about the suit and everything is just like supple and flexible material that feels comfortable on the skin

Very planned stitching, quality and toughness are the trademark of this brand. The paddle zones are all seamless and the curved areas like the knees and the legs are all S-Curved seams that are already bent to give you maximum comforts when you put it on and take it off. The fitting is perfect. You feel as if you have bought the very expensive wet suit with huge discount.

Knee patches are made of Kypto material which is very flexible. The wrist cuffs and the neckline all have the Super Seal technology that does not allow any water to seep in. Everything is well engineered and stitched ,worth the money you spend on.

Wetsuit- Inexpensive Roxy Clothing

Roxy clothing are usually not inexpensive always. You may be surprised why these are given at such huge discounts........... First of all have a survey to check how many of your friends are interested in such water games. Then they can guide where to buy quality wetsuits according to your budget. Mostly they would ask you to go to the store's main plant. If you can go it is well and good. In case you can't make it to that point then you have the choice of just clicking a mouse. You can visit the sites and decide on your choice.

Internet is time tested formula for the shopping. Easily you can see the discount and shop sitting home. You can see a wide range of Roxy Clothing on the net. Different varieties, designs and colors are there for you to choose. Check all the credibility properly and make sure about the free shipping..If you buy from the internet then you can compare both the prices. But never to compromise on the quality. You are buying a wetsuit,it has to serve the purpose fully. If you find the price difference is negligible then you can straightway go to the nearest shop and buy to avoid the waiting list. But if there is huge discount on net then obviously one has to go for it.

Wetsuit- Affordable RipCurl clothing

Many infants enjoy scuba diving with parents. And some kids are already in the swimming , needing excellent quality wetsuits to enhance their competition. Sometimes you may not find or get the perfect fitting wet suits for your kids. In such scenario parents buy the closest suitable fitting and then get it altered by the tailor for the perfect fitting for their child. Somehow this is not a very good practice as it may end resulting into skin rash of your kid..Because once the original seams are already split then they may not give you the expected results when altered. The bottom line of this is not to go for alterations, instead go for the perfect fitting.

Ripcurl clothing has wetsuits specially designed for children, which are quite affordable. Some stores offer huge discount on these as demand for such wetsuits are low. These custom wetsuits have the same mechanism for heat retention and flexibility as that of the full sized versions. These wetsuits, though they haven't got seams, don't cause any rashes on your kids skin. You will get very carefully stitched Ripcurl clothing for kids.

Ripcurl clothing for kids has got smaller market hence the colors are buoyant and bright. Some of them are having floral designs and their favorite cartoons. You can choose the best one for your kids. This way you are enhancing the spirit of competition in your kids. No parents will settle less than the best for their children. In this case Rip Curl clothing only will give you the expected level

PitPit Alipayo Captures Philippine Top Grom Title at 2009 Billabong Grommet Competition in La Union

(December 16-18, 2009 – San Juan, La Union, Philippines) – Under consistent 3-4 foot sets rolling into the Mona Lisa Point in La Union, 16-year old Siargao Island local boy PitPit Alipayo threw together an impressive combination of floaters and backside hacks thus successfully recapturing  the Philippine top grom title at the 3rd Annual Billabong Grommet Competition, a surf tournament he won two years ago on its inaugural year. It was an all-star final as PitPit faced off with cousin Paul John Alipayo, defending champion Jay-R Esquivel of La Union, and Lanuza ace Azur Laudes, assuring the spectators and surf fans an exciting finale. At the end of the day, it was PitPit’s tactical composition of floaters landed with precision connecting into spraying backside cutbacks that won him the distinction of being the country’s finest young surfer.

“I really remembered Head Judge Marco Villareal’s briefing before we paddled out for the final,” says PitPit Alipayo, “he reminded us that the judges were looking at speed, control, power, manoeuvres, and combos. So I knew I had to focus on that, especially the combos! Also, when I found out that the winner would get to go to Occy’s Billabong Grom Comp in Malaysia (January 2010), I was very excited to win, especially cause it’s my last year as a grom!”

All the groms were stoked with  the awesome conditions the final day had to offer. “Man, I was really feeling so positive and just this happiness that I can’t explain just being in the water,” exclaims PiPit, “especially when I got that second wave where I nailed the floater in the critical section and landed it just right.” PitPit continues, “ you know, this event Billabong put together is so important for us groms, it’s really a  big help for us. It makes us step up! I wanna thank Billabong for giving us this big opportunity every year. I wanna thank my sponsor Aloha boardsports for helping me a lot too.”

It was a tightly fought all goofy-footer final, especially with his cousin Paul John Alipayo drawing loud cheers from the crowd after heaving serious spray with a powerful backside attack. “During the semifinal, the waves seemed better, more glassy, I was able to do more tricks,” reveals Paul John, “but the waves were a little rough during the final. It was windy, and I didn’t make that many attempts. But this was still a great comp, and it’s really cool that Billabong puts this together for us groms!”

The competition had earlier been marred by a flat spell forcing organisers to extend the waiting period a few more days. “The waves just weren’t happening at all,” says Competition Director Luke Landrigan of Billabong Asia’s surf team, “but we weren’t gonna let that stop us. This annual Billabong grom comp is huge for the kids. It’s their one chance every year to show their stuff. So we knew we had to make it happen.” Luke laughs, “most exciting of all, PitPit gets to show Occy his sweet smile in Malaysia.”
“It was definitely worth the extension,” Luke continues, “with solid conditions on the final day, the groms put on an awesome show for all of us. I bet they can even win the men’s open comp,” Luke beams with pride.

“Luke came up with the idea of an annual grom comp for the Philippines, and what a great tradition it’s been, “ says JV Borromeo, Stoked Inc President and Billabong’s partner in the Philippines. “From the very first year, we had all out support from Billabong and Peter Thew (Billabong Asia Brand Manager). Luke’s also been amazing with getting the kids together from Siargao, Lanuza, Baler, La Union, Zambales, and all other parts of the country for this annual showdown. It's a big production, a little crazy at times, but well worth it. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event!”

Witnessing the improvement and progression in the young surfers' skills, the future looks bright for Philippine surfing. “The groms really showed a lot of patience and maturity this year with their surfing, especially with the longer waiting period,” says head judge Marco Villareal.  “This time we explained clearly how they were to be judged, and exactly what we were looking for. So they showed a lot of technical knowledge and really sick progressive surfing. Above all, we saw some crazy pre-teen kids who attacked this swell with insane tricks. That’s the future and we can't wait to see more of this wicked talent again!”

The 3rd Annual Billabong Grommet Competition is sponsored by: Billabong, Stoked Inc., The Billabong Surf School (La Union), The San Juan Surf Resort, Partas Bus Lines, Lola Nanny’s Surf Resort, The Little Surf Maid, The La Union Surf Club, Fox Clothing, MyPhone Philippines, Loaded Skateboards, Jooshi Surf, Photos by Angel Villanueva, Green Zinc Clean Shores

Wetsuit- Buying Guideline & Information

The features of wetsuit.

It is mainly used for water sports. Wetsuit is an insulation and made of neoprene .It offers some warmth as protection against water. Jack O'Neill is considered as a pioneer in inventing wetsuits for the past 50 years. Of course there has been a tremendous improvement in the existing wetsuits .

Types of wetsuits

There is a gamut of wetsuits available in the market. They are categorized by the thickness of the neoprene and the length how much does it cover your body.

Rash guard- It looks like a tea shirt protecting against the sun. But it is not made of neoprene, hence it can not be called as wet suit.

Wetsuit top-It is surely made of neoprene and looks like a rash guard. This is helpful for summer surf.

Shorty wetsuit- This is also meant for summer. Because it has short legs and arms it is called shorty.

Spring wetsuit- Being little thicker than shorty, it has long arms and short legs. You get a wide range in this variety.

Full suits-These cover the full body and available in different thickness level. 3/2, 4/3, 5/4/3 these no's could be seen on them like this.

The numbers mean.......

You see numbers written on wetsuits like 3/2, 4/3 etc. These numbers indicate the thickness of the neoprene sheets .The thicker the warmer is the principle it works on. If you are surfing in the cold water, then you need to have wetsuit boots, wetsuit gloves and wetsuit hood.

The working style of wetsuit.

Wet suit helps in holding the water between your body and the neoprene. This water maintains your body temperature perfectly. Wetsuit also acts as an insulation against the cold water. Neoprene used in wetsuits has so many bubbles acting as great insulators. Obviously better neoprene has more bubbles resulting in to keeping the body warmer. The thicker neoprene means more insulation warmer wetsuit.

Have a glance on all the catalog of wetsuits. Study carefully after all it is your body which needs warmth.

The features of a good wetsuit.

You need to know the following points very clearly before buying:

-how thick is the neoprene, and how warm it is and how stretchy?
-How are the seams? Are they waterproof ?
-any additional insulation is added inside the wetsuit?

These are the important points you must keep in mind. No one would like to have water around his body and feel cold. Firstly you must fit into the wetsuit properly.

Zipper of wetsuit

These zippers of wet suits cannot be water tight. A thin neoprene membrane under the zipper is called bat wing. Zipper prevents water around it.

Wetsuit stitches

From worst to best:
Over lock stitch
Flat lock stitch
Blind stitch (needle never penetrates the neoprene - no holes)
Liquid taped stitches - these are the best, usually you begin with blidstitch and then seal it with liquid rubber This makes the seams 100% waterproof.
Extra functionality of wetsuits.

A lined neoprene is long lasting..Neoprene without lining is smoother and it better repels water and wind. Windsurfers use it a lot. Single lined neoprene also has names like mesh skin, smooth skin etc.

Titanium - if wetsuit is lined with titanium (between neoprene and nylon lining) it will reflect your body heat back into the wetsuit.

additional insulating fabric, fibers - today's new clothes can be made out of hollow fibres that have great insulation capabilities. Some winter neoprenes have this on the inside. This is called aero core, fire skin etc.

The Kop

Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard

I watched Blackburn Rovers vs Liverpool last night at Skipper Senayan. And the result is 0-0. Actually, David Ngog, Liverpool substitute, was coming closer to produce a goal, but a shot rattled to the bar. I hope Fernando Torres, the coolest guy, get well soon for his injuries. No mather what the result is, I always stand for Liverpool. You never walk alone.

I don't have the original jersey of LFC,can't somebody give it free to me??
