The rain poured, carpeting the site in knee-deep mud soup but did nothing to dampen the spirits of the thousands of Bestival goers who partied through in nautical fancy dress for the ‘30,000 freaks under the sea’ theme. From Aphex Twin to Hot Chip, Roni Size to Underworld, and surprise guest Grace Jones, Bestival’s heady eclectic music mix kept everyone dancing and singing in the rain, with highlights including Santogold and the mind-blowing Beardyman, check out www.beardyman.co.uk and be amazed.
