Coffin on Cake PR is currently seeking a PR Account Executive with a proven track record to join their expanding team of professionals.

As a PR Account Executive you will be working with a number of high profile consumer brands within the fashion and boardsport sectors.
The successful applicant will add to, and enjoy, the vibrant office atmosphere through hard work and achievement and will input into all aspects of this small, but dynamic agency.

The successful applicant will:
- Be responsible for generating relevant national media coverage for a range of accounts.
- Regularly report to account managers on appeared and upcoming coverage as well as office activity for each client.
- Be responsible for meeting monthly media targets set by account managers.
- Input strategically and creatively into campaign and pitch strategies.
- Continually source new publicity opportunities throughout the media.
- Be responsible for managing product requests and sample delivery & returns.
-Communicate with clients to report on success of campaigns.
- Manipulate product imagery, per season/per client, to suit the media’s needs.
- Be a dynamic self starter, full of initiative, and have the ability to work individually as well as part of the team.
- Be proactive in meeting deadlines.
- Be based in our office in Plymouth.

The successful candidate will have:
- A network of well established media contacts throughout the fashion and sports sectors, both in print, TV, radio, and online.
- A proven track record in consumer PR that relates to the boardsport and/or fashion industry.
-Good sector knowledge.
-A strong academic background in PR, media relations, or marketing.
- Possess excellent telephone manner and be able to confidently cold-call and develop new contacts.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe Photoshop.
- Have ability to rapidly write press releases and sell-in emails.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop their skills.
- A will to succeed under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- The ability to be well presented at all times.
